Description:
This is nothing but water color paints. Actually my very first full painting. Its on illustration board, and I did NOT use water color pencils at all! I did it with a very thin brush and it took me FOREVER to do this, but its beautiful and I love it.

The orb in Mother Natures hands is supposed to be the old worn down heart of the earth and she is weeping for it because it can no longer hold out but the hands above are Father Time and he is replacing it with new life.
The sky looks as though there was once a terrible storm that destroyed everything in its path but is now bringing new life like a fire to a forest, and the reflection in the water is perfect mimicking the Earth above

I love this piece sooo much.There is so much detail in everything, the hands are beautiful, those are possibly the hardest body part to draw, and along with the blending of blue into peach for the skin tone which goes into the blood dripping down from the orb.
The earth and water in the back ground have so much beauty swimming around with so much life and death all in one photo. I love the angle in the corner, the body language speaks to be as if its Mother Nature. - Report As Spam
