Vincent Saotome is a dhamphyre, a human and vampire halfbreed. He's been the victim of betrayal, hurt by former allies and friends because he's seen as a monster and a freak of nature. He is trapped between the worlds of humans and vampires.
Despite wanting to make friends, he is afraid of what others think and stays out of contact with them.
