- I think I get what you mean, but this was fine in acrylics and we weren't allowed to use brushes. You're idea would be difficult.

- I think you should have written or typed out the text first as a background and then drawn over it. And then if you really wanted to convey something written, to map out the text in a way it's still understandable so that when you draw over it, the written part would still make sense. Also, there's a disconnect within the drawn/painted parts. Next time, try to smooth it out with transitions or amalgamate the entire thing together while each piece still has its meaning.
