I think this is nice photo but next time you could improve by making sure the subject is more in focus. Don't worry about the negative comments too much. If you like your work, that's really all that matters.

i think with a little editing and a little bit more work on positioning this photo could be fantastic. I don;t think it is quite taken from an angle that makes the flower look its best. The focusing is really effective, and the colour of the flower really stands out from the greens.

(also, ditch the sympathy bid in the description, it wont get very far, you need to learn to accept criticism im afraid)

This is cute. Nice use of the "rule of thirds". I think it would have been more interesting if it was zoomed in a little closer. When I take close shots like this I always think to myself, "is there anything in this picture that I don't need?" If so, I zoom in closer. And even if I'm not sure, I zoom in closer just to see what it would look like. Nice job!

Well i get a few rude comments as well but i just get over it...I love my work and that's all that really matters...Go by that instead of listening to a bunch of people who know NOTHING about photography..Your cant expect everyone to love your work.

But i think you should try taking the picture from a different angle.
