- If you did it more for the history versus looking cool then I'd respect it more. People like you are disrespectful to people who actually use locks as symbols of their empowerment. You need to do a bit of African studies before you call them "dreads" again.

- Oh yeah i know and i'm not ruining my real hair the dreads actually make my hair grow super long like i had to take them out and i'm going to have to put them back in plus i'd rather take the time to make them because there for me and i want to make sure they will last oh and i also know how to make what your talking about

- They now make yarn hair falls where you can fake the look without ruining your real hair. You just pull your hair up into a bun and then wrap the elastic of the yarn hair fall around the bun. Ta Da! No more damaged hair for a cool look.
