- Description: Spending my years on the river, I have learned to appreciate the beauty of nature and life on the water. This is taken from behind my home, overlooking the water on a sunny day. But there was something amazing and different in taking the photo in monochromatic scheme. I was glad to have captured this, as the island was set on fire a few months later and destroyed a lot of the trees unfortunately. There was moral in this though- photographs are a GREAT way to preserve memories, fun, and life!
