The sun had just begun to set as I opened my eyes, my tomb held a stench that I myself could no longer tell apart from the cinfides of my own coffin as I lay there; fully awakened and parched of thirst. I listened to the rustling of the wind through the leaves of fall, I knew this for the made a rasp sound as they slide against one another on their branches; pushing eachother of with greed for the last bits of nurishment they could usurp before falling into decay. The air had also grown a faint chill during the night time that made my hunts far more of a challenge since many young women traveled with a man by their side; like a suite of armor that needed to be peirced then drained dry before the fair lady's eyes as her mouth would slowly fall open then try to scream as I held then close; nuzzling my fangs over their throats, then drink them dry, wishing to find one who would welcome my cold embrace instead of wither away like dust.
Alas, my dreams were as dead as I was, cold and forgotten in the mists of eternity; my morals were lost in time as the new ages came and went. I watched as the holy cross was first raised in Rome; however that was merely a decade ago. Now the mortals sought help from their 'Devine One' to save them from my kind and other demons that walked the shadow, many were false; but my race was true. We sat and hid in shadows why, I know not, maybe it was the fear of this new power the mortals now seemed to have over us or it was the pure shock that fell over ous that these mortals sought the help of an imaginary force to save them from us, many feared it; claimed it to be our one true weakness. Others scoffed and tried to join with this cause, finding little more than a steak driven into their hearts. A few still remained in shadow as I had, watching the mortal world pass us by.
These thoughts ran through my mind as my scenes told my the sun had set, pushing my drive to feed even more. I could not resist the call of the night as i heard the howling of the wolves in the grave yard, some where calm around me; others would turn and run. My white skin and bright greem eyes made me stand out, but my long back hair and aristcrat clothes made he fit in with the crowd of the night untill my hunger grew. My fangs ached as they grew in langth, I tried with all my self-control to try and keep them hidden but it would fail so a was forced to act as a mute, 'Damn thirst.' I cursed myself as I walked into town, the pub was full of choices but none suited my taste; the wenches here had no innocents in them as they strut around in there clothes that had barely covered their soil bodies; my inside squrimed in disgust as I moved on. The night becoming more and more a lust as I walked down the street in search of a proper meal.
