They say that if you squint hard enough you’ll start to see an apparition of Jesus. This also happens to be the past time for the people here in Ivoy County. Things move at their own unique pace here in Ivoy. The peaches pickle a bit slower and the occurrences of public drunkenness climb higher every year. Time itself seems to be irrelevant to some folks. An old town lore tells of a man who lived cradle to grave without ever looking at a clock, watch, or any other kind of time keeping device. They say he would take a quick glance at the sun, scratch his beard, and be able to tell you the time down to the minutes. There were rumors that the man was secretly a genius but he’s dead now so no one really knows.
Ivoy County really isn’t a county. It is actually called the town of Ivoy but an old municipal error had the official name written as Ivoy County instead of just Ivoy. Although it was eventually corrected, people still took to calling it Ivoy County. Perhaps they did so to make the town sound bigger or as some folks say, “fancier.” Either way, the town of Ivoy has stuck to calling itself Ivoy County.

- ...Hey, a story not about vampires, anime, or people abusing the English language. I would like to see where this is leading to. Great introduction, only gripe is that I would like to see it a little longer.

I guess all this about why it's called Ivoy County isn't really necessary; you should leave it out. The beginning is a bit confusing and almost too concise, the first sentence seems to have nothing to do with the next, and so.
there are a few logical errors, but an interesting read nonetheless. - Report As Spam

- A repeated word at the beginning (Ivoy). 1 small grammatical error I caught, but it's fine. x3 (Great job!) Other than that, it's great, really!
