• Blade, Kevin and the demons arrived at the edge of the forest. In the distance they saw Rayne and Razeil chatting to each other at the fountain. “Kevin for your first task I want you to make an appearance. “ Yes milord.” He said sourly and got up from kneeling and walked ever so slowly to the water fountain. Rayne stopped talking and heard something approaching them. “Hey did you hear that it’s like something is headed this way?” Razeil said. Rayne ignored him and went to go and investigate. To her surprise she saw Kevin in armor and heading her way. “Oh my god Kevin your alive thank the Lunar Goddess you’re alright.” She wailed as she went up to him and gave him a tight hug. Kevin took in her sent and tears began to flow from his eyes. “Rayne you got to leave me run get out of here!” Kevin said in a muffled tone. “Why, why would I leave the one I love? Kevin pushed Rayne away from her and withdrew his sword his eyes went from his usual red to blue and he let out his horrible screech out again and swung but missed at Rayne. “Kevin why how could you?” Rayne asked in shock. Raziel finally transformed into his hybrid from and jumped in front of Rayne to protect her. He blocked off Kevin’s sword with the spikes from his wolf demon body. “Rayne run get out of here!” Razeil said as he was brought down by Kevin. She was immobilized by fear and what was going on. Kevin appeared before her and struck her without thought with his sword in her side. She fell to the ground in pain and in tears saying, “Why Kevin, Why did he do this to you. I love you Kevin.” Rayne said as she shifted to her wolf form and with the saddest eyes she said goodbye. Raziel turned to his father and roared angrily at him and said, “I will kill you Blade even if it is the last thing I do!” And with that he fled after Rayne. “You may try my son you may try.” Blade mocked him. “Kevin at ease!” Blade commanded. Kevin fell to the ground and the scent of Rayne’s blood on his sword made him double over in regret and pain. “RAYNE!” he said as loud as he could. Rayne stopped running to look back and she saw Kevin on his knees enduring his own inflicted suffering. “Oh my god Kevin!” She thought to herself she stopped and waited for Raziel to catch up with her and she let out a mournful howl for only Kevin to hear. “You did well Kevin for your first night I am impressed” Blade said. Rayne was forced to return to her human form due to the wound Kevin inflicted on her. “Rayne are you alright?” Raziel asked with great concern. “No. I think you may have to carry me brother!” She said as she tore off half her shirt and made a makeshift bandage. She screamed in pain as she tightened it. He picked her up with great ease and ran home bursting in through the door. “Shadow! Tora I need some assistance here! My father put Kratos’s soul into Kevin’s; it can only be the reason why I recognized that screech before.” He said and went to the window. “What are you talking about that was Kevin that attacked me?” Rayne said. “Yeah It was sis but did you notice how his hair was black and blue instead of black and red, and that his body instead of being an ivory color it had a like a blue tint to it almost like it had a layer of tiny blue hairs covering his body and not only that his battle cry was not his.” Raziel said as he sat down on the bed next to her. Tears fell out of her eyes. “Then tell me Raziel who is or what rather did they do to Kevin!” Rayne said as she almost pounced on him. “Simple Rayne they took the guy Kratos’s soul and fused it with Kevin’s so that Blade could have control over him.” Shadow said. “He did it to my sister Star once and raped her took her blood and killed her.” She said as she sat on the bed as well. “Then how do we free Kevin?” Rayne simply asked. “We have to free the soul of Kratos.” Tora said as she shoved a liquid down Rayne’s throat to soothe her pain. “But knowing Blade with Hell on his side it is going to be a hard one to remove the soul. “ Raziel said. Rayne looked around her room and slowly got up and winced in pain. “Raziel can you take me to the window please?” She asked. Raziel came to her aid and took her by the arm and carried her over to the bench outside on the balcony porch. “Would you like to be by yourself sister?” He asked as he sat her down. “Please if you don’t mind I would like to be, I will call you when I am ready to comeback inside.” Rayne said as she made herself comfortable and gazed of into the cold night. Raziel came back inside to find the two girls with their noses in a book. “Hey we have a crisis here its no time to read your romance novels!” He said as he came over to the desk. Tora looked up to see him and scoffed, “Shows how much you know this is my own simpler version of the Book of the Lost Souls. I just thought it would be convenient to make such a copy.” “Besides Raziel were looking up the cure or whatever to help Kevin.” Shadow said as she flipped to the next page. Dumbfounded and dense Razeil gave them a stupid look and went to his own room. Meanwhile back at Blade’s manor, The demons disappeared to their quarters and Blade to his. Kevin was left all alone in the den. Still frozen by what he done he left to his sleeping chamber. Kevin tore of f the armor and put his sword to the side. He lay in bed and tried to sleep but couldn’t he still can smell her scent. Blade went into Kevin’s chamber and called upon him. ‘Kevin come now at least you didn’t kill her. Look on the bright side she is still alive at least I mean literally.” Blade laughed at him. “Why you son of a b***h!” Kevin yelled. Kevin looked over to the window and saw the crescent moon hanging low in the sky. “Why did I hurt you Rayne I tried so hard not to do so…ah what in the hells did Blade do to me.” He ripped off his shirt and gazed at himself at the mirror, on his chest was a symbolic tattoo that he has never seen before. He went to touch it and the symbol glowed a red faint color. Curious Kevin made his way to the mansion’s library to search for the symbol’s meaning. Four hours went by and he finally found the book he was searching for, searching the pages for anything that looked similar to his. Finally half way through the book he found the exact symbol.

His screaming grew his louder in high pitch screeches that broke the glass in the room and Sebastian was there looking down at him and pulled out a freakishly large syringe and stabbed it in his lower arm and Kevin was knocked out cold. Sebastian gazed over to the book Kevin had open and closed it shut while muttering a few curses under his breath; he then dragged the sleeping vampire back to his quarters. Kevin was haunted in his by Rayne’s blood, scent and her expression of fear that was forever burned into the back of his mind. “Rayne.” He muttered. It really quite that day at the mansion. Shadow and Tora were still locked up in the library searching for a solution and Razeil was cleaning his sister’s wound. Rayne flinched in pain and gazed up at her brother. ‘heh, I am sorry sis I’m just trying to help you get better.” He said as he backed up from her. “oh iim sorry brother it just hurts a little bit.” She lied to him. Rayne got up and leaned against the window pane and sighed heavily while holding on to her bandaged side. “Raziel I would like to go for a walk alone in the nearby woods is you don’t mind.” She said as she left him alone and walked outside the front door and paused for a minute to catch her breath then she continued outside and she shut the door behind her. Rayne continued outside until she found the entrance to the small patch of woods. Once inside Rayne let out a long sigh and walked towards the tree were Kevin and herself would sit together to comfort each other and relax. “Oh Kevin.” Rayne sobbed. In the distance the essence of a rouge wolf demon was watching her cry alone in her own misery. It approached her cautiously and carefully. “I need to save him I know he would never do that to me he loves me I am sure of it.” Rayne said out loud. A eerie voice said, “I can help you become stronger and I will give you my word on it that it will be enough to help you rescue your beloved.” Rayne sat very still and said, “Who is there name yourself!” The wolf presented itself to her and sat down on it‘s haunches. “How can you be so near and I can’t even sense you so, What are you tell me?” She demanded. “I am a wolf such as you.” The wolf simply replied. Rayne looked at the wolf and said, “How is it that you can make me stronger, I mean you are a wolf like me but I don’t see how it is possible.” The wolf gave her a look of interest and said. “With your permission if you will allow me I can do it for you, You won’t feel any pain at all, The only thing that you will and might feel is a oncoming impact of something slamming into you but without the object.” The wolf reasoned with her. She looked at her wound and then hesitated for a moment. (If I do allow her to permission to do so I can save Kevin and bring him safely home.) “Okay you have yourself a deal!” Rayne said. The wolf smiled a wicked toothy grin and leapt on top of Rayne and without getting hurt the wolf turned into a mist and entered her chest and dissipated inside. She fell down to her knees and she took in deep heavy breaths. Rayne felt like her sister threw her against a tree. “Remember Rayne, I will only grant your new strength when the time comes.” Arya said to her. Rayne felt a wave of nausea overcome her and she hurried home. Once at home she burst through the door and woke up her brother who was comfortably sleeping on the couch. She ignored his concerned expression and continued up her stairs and into her room and into her bed falling asleep almost instantly. Tora entered Rayne’s room to see a black mist surround her bed she shut the door and walked to her mate’s room. “Shadow we have a serious problem.” She simply said. Shadow placed a bookmark in her book and turned to face her. “Tora my love what can be more important than looking for a spell to release Kevin from Blade’s grasp?” She asked her. “Its Rayne she isn’t herself something is wrong with her.” Tora said as she walked towards her. “Tora are you sure I mean I know you don’t like her but to go that far come on now I didn’t know you were that childish.” Shadow replied. Tora hissed at her in anger and grabbed her by the arm. “Fine then I will prove it to you like I always do.” . Shadow and Tora arrived at the room to find Rayne fast asleep in her bed. Tora flicked on the light in the room and there was a shadow blanketed over her upper half of her body. Shadow walked over to her sister and woke her up. “Sis wake up sister Rayne are you ok?” Shadow coaxed her. Rayne shot her eyes opens and ran for the door. "Rayne were are you going?" Tora yelled at her. Shadow stubborn as hell grabbed her sister's arm and pulled her to the ground.. "Sister calm yourself, What is wrong with you?" Rayne flased her eyes at her and it wasnt the usual yellow brown it was a bright firey orange. Shadow in shock let go of her.. "You your not my sister who the hell are you?" Shadow demanded.
