These Wondrous Lights
These wondrous lights, these magnificent colors, these transcendent wings of mine, they are all insignificant… Some may call these things superior, elegant, or palatial-but I disagree, I say they are inferior, crude, minor, and again, insignificant… I may be an angel, I may be a divine creature, I may even be a deity or god, but regardless, I do not care even in the slightest… Don’t you get it? I want to be dead, gone, nonexistent, forgotten, but this will never happen, and you wanna know why? Well, it’s all because of you! Yeah, that’s right, you! It’s all your fault! It’s your fault I’m like this, because you let me down! I thought you could help me, but you never did! You’ve only made it worse! You’ve turned me into a suicidal creep with no friends, no family, nothing! That is, except for a cute little girl that follows me around wherever I go, and I’m tired of this bull crap! You’ve made me stuck like this! You’ve imprisoned me in my own body! You’ve condemned me to Hell on Earth! No, I don’t wanna hear anything form you! YOU SHOULD JUST SHUT THE HELL UP!!! I’m tired of you, and you know what? I’ll just get rid of you instead! Yeah, yeah, that’s good, I’ll get rid of you and I’ll finally be happy! Who cares if everybody thinks I’m a psychotic, homicidal creep! What’s that? Stop yelling? Why should I? You should be the one to shut up! And y-you know what? You’re right… I don’t know what came over me… I’m sorry, so let’s just get out of this rain and go home…

My best work so far and my first submission, so enjoy...
Oh, and a little note: The story originally ended differently and was a bit shorter, I might submit that one in a little while.... - Date: 12/22/2008

- Well, he's not exactly the stereotypical angel, and I'm only eleven, so give me some credit... I see what you mean though, creep does seem kind of cliche... However, I do appreciate the rating, so thank you very much...

The story is excellent, but I somehow don't see its style as the vernacular in which an angel, if that was indeed the subject, would speak. And "creep" is a cliché; think up something more interesting, more severe.
