Sprawled out on the grass
Barred in by your arms, ready for you to take me away
Beneath the night sky, the glittering stars
Watching and partaking in our passion
I can see shooting stars over your head
I'll make a wish and keep it to myself
That nothing will ever take you away from me
Under an old oak tree
Your eyes deep, brown, and pensive
Your starlit gaze into my own makes me wonder
The thoughts behind those thoughtful windows
What watches me from them?
What do they see in me?
I put my hands around your waist and feel you on me
I smile to myself and you smile back
I close my eyes so that the violet night turns black
I feel you breathing deeply in anticipation
There is so much that led to this
I feel your lips meet mine and our tongues dance inside
Caressing your back, I make my way to your head
Your hair is so soft and fragile along my fingertips
You pull me closer so that I feel your heart beating against my chest
I lose thought and I feel myself drifting through the rest
I open my eyes as you lift your head off of mine
I look into your face, notice features I never saw before
Smiling, my lips still wet, I struggle to sit up
My hands shaking and drenched with sweat, I wipe them off
You smile back at me, your eyes happily meet mine
You set your back against the old oak tree
I crawl into your open arms and put my spine against your chest
I hold both of your hands and lay, staring at the sky
The moon glows with a new vibrant, soothing mood
I feel the stars glittering madly, as if they're still in the heat
The wind blows gently past us, shaking the leaves away
The branches sway hypnotically and I feel like I'm drifting into sleep
Another star shoots across the velvet night, and I smile furtively
I close my eyes and hold your hands tighter
