• They worked all day long,leaving me behind,alone in the room.I had to wait for them to finish their job.I waited for them patiently.But I knew they didn't mean to leave me alone in the room,but we had no choice.I couldn't do any work because I was still very young.I felt like I was a burden to them.So I've made up my mind.I am going to help them for as much as I could.A few minutes of waiting,mother,brother & sister finally came home.I was so glad to see them.I was quite worried.They looked so tired.And so,I didn't mean to bother them after such a long,tiring day of work.When mother was sitting on the chair,I lifted up her feet on put it on my knees to massage them.She grabbed my face gently and said,"My dear Alex,I'm sorry I didn't have time to spend some with you,If I have some extra money and spare time,I would've brought the three of you to go out.And I'm sorry I couldn't...",Said mother while tears flowing down her cheek softly.My siblings noticed mother was crying,so they came up to us and the four of us hugged each other tightly.


    With the feeling of courage,I stood up and said,"Mother,brother,sister.I may still be young,but please,I wish to assist all of you as much as I can.Please,I'm begging you."They were quite shocked to hear that,but they approved of me.They said,"You may,but just don't strain yourself hardly."I was really happy to hear that.I cried and hugged them tightly and said,"I wish father were here."My mother replied,"He would've wanted to see your courage,dear.And we all hoped so."Then mother smiled once again.I haven't seen that smile in ages.It was a bright,happy smile,a smile that makes even the saddest person happier than ever.My siblings and I were very glad and proud to see that smile once again.We flowed down the tears of joy.
