There was no warning. There was no panic. It just happened.
That day a strong white light was draped over the earth and the sky. It rose slowly from earth and covered the entire world. Everything stopped. Everything was silent though some claimed to hear a girl singing(we later found out that they weren't crazy). Everything was white. It was as beautiful as it was frightening. All you could hear at first was your own heart beat. Then others, then finely the heart beat of every living thing. The heart beat as one. At first our hearts beat slowly then they sped up, they sped up with every second, until they beat at an almost unreal sped. Then suddenly they stopped. We all stood there gazing up at the white sky. Hours seemed to drag on as we stood there in almost a trance.
Now in reality Zero hour only lasted a few seconds but to us it seemed like hours had dragged on.
The result of it was not bad. Only a few people died. Some died later in there life's(We knew this because one day they could be the picture of health then die the next day). It had an affect on some people, It gave them special abilities. Like something out of a comic book. We would later call these people either the X-rebirth or the Zero's.
These people were either good(Zero's) of evil(X-rebirth). But as we found out in later years that the people of the X-rebirth were in fact all good. We all had a hard time accepting this. The reason why, the person who points the gun to your head, the person who you hunt down each night, the same person who proves to be a threat to the entire City is actually good. Hard to believe right. But in the end Madam X found them at the wrong time.
We all had hard lives.... but the fact that we could all(the Zero's i mean) rise above all the pain and the suffering and most of all the darkness in our own hearts is what was truly amazing.
Later so would the X-rebirth.
Yukari(but forever in our hearts Koyuki)
