• "Thirsty, I'm thirsty." A familiar voice rang in my head. "Please, I need blood." The voice grew louder repeating the same thing over and over. "I can't help you. Leave me alone!" I yelled as the person flew up to me. She had blood red eyes and wings,and sharp fangs. She looked like me except for the eyes,fangs, and wings. She came closer and bit into my neck. In horror I awoke, terrified i looked in the mirror. My reflection was normal, brown messy hair and dark brown eyes. I looked at the clock, it was 2:00 am. Sadly no one would be awake. well almost no one would. My best friend, Lindsey, would be awake. She was always awake at this time. I Reached for my cell and dialed her number.

    "Emmi?"

    "Yeah."

    "You ok?"

    "Pretty much."

    "Well, if you are then go back to sleep."

    "Ok, bye." I hung up the phone an looked at the clock. "2:12 am, hm? I guess i should go back to sleep." I laid back on my bed and went back to sleep.When I woke up the next morning there was a note on my computer desk. We will be gone for a week, behave yourself, Love mom and dad. "Well at least school is out for spring break, high school is sooooo stressful." I finally went to get a shower after three hours of being awake. As soon as i got out, there was a text message on my phone. Emmi hurry up, we are waiting for you at the mall! Remeber Lindsey gets to drive your new car on our way home!!!! I smiled, and finished getting ready. I grabbed my purse and car keys.As soon as I got to the mall both Allie and Lindsey dragged me into the book store.We all had five-hundred dollars, well i had a credit card but I wasn't about to tell them that. As a result, I bought five books, Allie bought seven, and Lindsey bought two. I sighed as they dragged me to the video game store, Hot Topic, and a music store. By the time we left it was 10:30 pm. As we got to my purple Mustang, Lindsey jumped into the driver seat. "My turn to drive!!" Lindsey yelled nearly killing my eardrums. I handed her the key and we drove off. Due to traffic we didn't get to my house until 12:30 am.

    Lindsey was the first to fall asleep. Then I was but Allie woke me up before I fell to deep in my sleep. "Allie? Whats up?" I asked looking at her suspiciously. "Well, I killed Lindsey's boyfriend." Somehow that made Lindsey wake up " WHAT!!!!" Lindsey said half tried and confused and maybe somewhat angry. "Oh, nothing Lindsey go back to sleep." Allie chuckled and Lindsey grumbled and layed back down. "Really, Allie what did you want." I questioned her sanity but she was my other best friend so she was naturally crazy. " I wanted to show you something." Allie pointed to the screen, it had apicture on it, she admitted she drew it. "It looks nice." I stepped back and suddenly I felt dizzy. Allie of course did not notice me having dizzy spells. I fainted landing on my bed, which was a good thing.Suddenly I was in a dark place, the same one from before. The figure appeared. "Why did you leave? I only wanted blood." her red eyes met mine and somehow I was paralyzed. She took once glance at my neck, then bit into it, drinking heavily.I started to feel different. My eyes started to glow red and I grew fangs. "You are now a Clear Blood." The figure said with a cold voice. "Clear Bloods are Vampires with strong elemental powers, your main element is fire. Your Best friend,Lindsey is also a Clear Blood, you are her partner and her main element is water." The figure left and I woke up. Allie was asleep, but Lindsey was awake smiling. "You are a Clear Blood now aren't you?" Lindsey smiled and helped me off the bed. "Yes, I am, my main element is fire and yours is water, and we are partners." I said still confused. "Well in honor of this we must hunt." Lindsey pulled me outside. "Lindsey, what are you doing?!" Lindsey didn't answer, angrily I jerked back, my eye glew red and wings of flame formed, I was flying up with Lindsey, she was shocked at what was happening. " Emily, you are a fire-heart, a Clear Blood that has more than elemental powers!" Lindsey smiled but was still shocked. "Let me guess you are a water-heart." I was just guessing but it made sense. "Yes, you are good a guessing." Lindsey was happy. "So are you, Lilly" Lindsey looked at me angrily, I landed in the forest.

    After we got back to the house after our fill of blood, I started asking questions.

    "Lindsey, did the Clear Blood that chose you, look like you?"

    "No, did yours"

    "Yes!"

    "Maybe you have a twin"

    "Lindsey, I only have a half-sister and she isn't nearly as pretty."

    "Its still possible, Emily."

    After my game of twenty questions was over we went back to my room. Allie was still asleep. We deiced to go to bed. We both laid down on the bed and fell asleep.From then on, I knew my life was about to change drastically
