• The Photo

    It was a great day so a girl named Noelle, and her best friends Meme, and Annabel decide to take a picture in their rose garden. The photo looked wonderful. Soon after that day, Noelle was drafted and sent to the war and fight for their country.
    As she was fighting, Noelle found herself in a very bad situation, the men that she was with were dead, and as she hid behind a some what of a thick rock wall, looking at the picture she took with her friends. She then smiled and said aloud “I miss you guys too much.” As soon as she said that she got shot twice through the right side of her body and the two bullets went through her friends faces in the picture.
    Soon after, some more of the men of her squad found her there, and took her to a safer place. She was later on airlifted back home.
    When she had made it to the hospital she was finally slowly waking up. Her friends got a letter in the mail to letting them know that their friend was in the hospital. As soon as they read that, they ran to the hospital. When they got there they said to Noelle, “Oh my Noelle, how much we have missed you!” Noelle look at them and said, “Who are you?” Thats when doctor broke the news to them that she had memory lost. It brought them to tears but about 3 minutes later they stop crying and took their friend home.
    They took care of her till she could stand again which was a month later. Her friend Meme that same day had a bad cough and then some point in time she started to cough up blood. “ No this can’t be happening not now!” said Meme. The next day, Noelle was walking around and Meme was in bed rest, while Annabel went out to buy some food and medicine, on her way there a shooting broke out and the first bullet went through her head.
    Back home Noelle was looking at the picture she had with the holes in the faces of two people. Then she remembered a day where Annabel and Meme were talking, and Meme told Annabel how much she loved white roses. Noelle decided to go to the rose garden and get her some white roses. She got about 20 white roses and came back in the house and gave them to Meme. Meme smiled and said, “Thank you Noelle, They….. are…beautiful” and as soon as she said those words, she died.
    A tear rolled down Noelle’s face and she was trying to figure out why. She started to walk around the house and she looked out the window and saw the gun war raging outside. She kept walking till she made it to a room with only a desk in side. She open one of the drawers and found a photo that look like the photo she had, but it had two faces on it. She look long and hard and then started to cry, as she notice that it was the people that were talking care of her. At that moment her memory came back all at once and she fell on the floor realizing that one of her best friends just died in front of her. She cried till she could not cry no longer. She finally got up to look out side and saw that the gun war was over she walked out side because she remembered that Annabel left to get food. She ran looking for her and she did not like what she found. She slowly walked to the body of her best friend Annabel and fell over next to her friends body crying even more then before.
    “Why did this have to happen?” she cried out loud “WHY!?” She came to her feet yelling for her friends to come back but she was stopped by getting shot through the heart. She fell to her knees and said a loud “Never mind…..Ill just…..co…me t….to you….guys” then she fell next to her friend Annabel and died.
    The person that shot them was a man wearing all white. he went to their house, got Meme, and brought her to where Noelle and Annabel were and laid her the next to them, then put a photo of them in the middle of them and disappeared like the mist. On the photo had a note that said: United Forever.
