• The two suns had began to set, both in the west of course. The previously yellow sky that gave across a strange warm, fuzzy feeling turned black. Underneath the Yellow Blossom tree where children had been playing only 2 minutes ago had vanished into their homes. Their mothers shouting their names and ordering them to get inside had probably done the trick. Doors slammed all at once and shutters on windows came down. As guard of Fuzzville it was my responsibility to make sure that everyone was inside their homes with doors closed and shutters down at this time of the year.

"M'am I believe your child is still playing in the lake, you had better hurry and get him,"I said to one woman (Mrs Freck, I think her name is.)
"Tommy!"she shouted at the top of her voice. The volume of her shout was so loud I had to cover my ears and even then when I took my hands away there was a ringing sound.

I was so surprised that Tommy didn't come back. I mean after all who wouldn't have heard that?

"You better get inside, the darkness is coming remember," I said calmly after the loud shouts. I still ahd the ringing noises in my ear.

"But what about Tommy? Where is he?" she said with a very worried tone in her voice,"I'm not going inside without him"

"Don't worry I'm sure he'll be back soon, I'll go out and find him if you want" I said and then immediantly regretted the last nine ords of my sentence.

"Would you? Oh thank you so much!" she cried out with delight. Then she ran inside and slammed the door and pulled down her shutters.

"Great!" I muttered under my breath so that no-one would hear me," Now I have to go into the darkness and find a little boy that is most likley dead"

I trugded through the marshes, and got most of the mud and grass on my shoes, and out of the little town of Fuzzville.
