I started to wake up. Exactly how long had I been sleeping? No matter, something was carrying me. Or at least I thought something was carrying me. I was right. That guy that saved me, Blair, was carrying me around with him. He probably wanted to through me in a hole and bury me there. No one was near. In order to tell him I was awake without using words, I yawned loudly in his ear. This didn't bother him one bit. It bothered me though. I wanted down from here, his back being carried to death or wherever the hell he was taking me.
"Put me down," I croaked. I felt him turn his head. His hair smelt very pleasant.
"Nope, what's wrong, scared?" he replied in a mocking tone. My anger was getting high while my patience was running low. Soon enough, I'd blow up.
"Put me down you," I said, grinding my teeth at him. Hopefully, he'd listen and put me down, then, I could run away and live to see my mom. Hopefully. If not, I'd just fight to get down from Blair's grip.
"I think not. You forget you have a hurt knee, I told you your head wasn't the only thing you fell on, actually, you found that out the hard way," He snickered at me," Now, tell me why you are out in the middle of the mountains."
"Not until you put me the hell down!" I yelled, I started to kick his arm with my good leg and the other leg protested when I tried. Blair just laughed and put me on the ground.
"Okay, done. Why are you out here?"
" Ouch, jerk, I'm looking for my mom, she's just outside the mountains, I know it," I explained angrily. Why did I tell him that? Did I even want to? Why did I want to keep looking at Blair? Now I realised I felt more safe when he was carrying me. I knew, deep down inside, I felt safe.
"Well I'm sorry you kicked me and hurt yourself, but, are you going to sit here all day or are going to get up. Do you want me to carry you?" I complained silently. Finally, I decided to try something on my own.
"I'll try by myself. If I need help, I'll ask." On that, I stood. Immediatly, a sharp and long lasting pain shot through my leg like a needle. It hurt so bad, my knee buckled and I began to tear. Not cry or sob, it was just a single tear out of complete pain. Blair outstreched his hand.
"You fractured it," He explained. The pain in my knee did not go away. Nothing went away. I faded, once again, into unconsciousness. Everything was silent and in my head I knew something:
I was in love with Blair.
