Beyond Birthday's Story part 2

THE EVENT PARTE 2:
Beyond opened his eyes for the first time in a while. At first, he couldn't see anything, but as his eyes ajusted, he saw a high ceiling and heard the sound of moniters beeping. He looked to his right and saw an I.V that was in his arm. He groaned.
"Ah! So you're finally awake!" Someone said. He looked beyond his feet and saw a doctor, a woman, standing there filling out some sort of paper work. "How are you feeling?" She asked. Beyond attempted to move his body up, but he caused too much pain. "I... feel like...hell..." He said.
"Don't try to move. You'll reopen your wounds." The woman said. "Actually, I'm surprised that you managed to escape with the damage you have. Others would've died instintly, or had something much worse. But you didn't." Beyond looked at the woman curiously. "What... happened? I don't remember... anything." He said. The woman sighed. "You and your parents got in a terrible car accident. Your parents where killed, and you got out with a few cuts, a few broken ribs and a piece of metal went right though your leg."
"My...parents? They're really...dead?" Beyond asked. The woman nodded. There was a silence before Beyond noticed a strange look on the woman's face. "What?" He asked. She turned her head. "What do you mean?"
"The look you had... on your face... like something was worrying you." She sighed. "When you were addmitted... we noticed brusies and older marks on you." Beyond gasped. "Tell me, did your parents hit you?" His breath shuttered. He didn't answer for a while. Then, he just nodded and looked away. The woman's voice started to creak when she said, "I'm so, so sorry..." In return, Beyond shook his head and said, "It's not your falt..." The woman decided that he would like some time alone. But before she left, Beyond asked, "Do you know who brought me in?"
"No. He didn't leave a name or anything. But... he kinda looked like you." She then left. Beyond sat in the silence of the room and closed his eyes. "It's all over... I won't have to deal with those people ever again." Then eventually, he went back into a deep sleep.
Beyond must've been asleep for a day or two. When he opened his eyes again, he looked all around him, still not used the sight of all white walls. He heard muffled speaking from outside his room he looked out his door (that was like a plateglass window) and saw the doctor from before and someone else he didn't recognize. An old man from his angle dressed all in black. He tried his best to understand what they were discussing, but he couldn't heard a specific word at all. It was all just jumbled noise. Then the old man turned his way and widened his eyes. He said something to the doctor and entered the room. "Wha... who..." Beyond began to say, but the old man inturrupted him. "That, you have nothing to worry about." Beyond had a confused look on his face. "Well, you don't know where you'll be living from now, do you?" The man asked.
"Yeah... that's right..."
The old man nodded and smiled. "You may address me as Quillish Wammy. But when we're in public, you call me Watari."
"Wammy... Wammy... why does that sound so--" Beyond gasped. "You don't mean you're..." He didn't finish his sentence. But needless to say, he didn't need to. The old man nodded. "Now..." He began. "You'll need to go through an exam to see if you're worth the time. I just came by to meet you and talk with your doctor about your living estate."
"Beyond...Birthday." He held out his hand. "Nice to meet you Watari." Wammy took the boys hand in his and shook it. "But if you don't mind me asking, how do you know about me?" Beyond asked. Wammy let go of his hand and said, "A very young friend and I saved you when you got in that accident, Beyond." And with that, he left.
