    As, guns shoot off into the distance, wake up from a nightmare of bullets, shooting in every direction, until one hits lounges me in the stomach. I fall down gasping for breath, but all i taste iz blood in my mouth. I look up, i c stars and a voice apearing to me,calling my name, am i dead? I woke up with an alraming sound, of gun fire, and tar and smoke fill the air, with every breath i take, a sharp peirceing, smeel develops in my lungs, as i try to find my pistol in my closet, i look up to see fire, coming out of my neighbors, window. I squint to see, through the haze, I see a figure, no two figures, "Look out!!!!!!" i yell, as one figure bashes the others head till blood come splating out, of his ears, i just watch in horror as the figure that murdoreded , pushes the body out the window. The one who was murdered was the father of 1 of my gang membors. He warned his daughter to not mess with the gangs, but she jus would ignore him, she was a really quiet girl, kept her thoughts to herself, dont bother other people, but, now they turned against her father since she was nowhere in site, and he was a easy and close target. I hear a bang, i turn to see wat was going on, i look out where my door used to be, and saw shadows, coming down the hallway. I wrinkle up my nose in anger, Cripz.

    "Maria! Maria!, come hurry, prisa prisa!"
    As i saw the shadows come closer, i scramble, to find my gun, and get ready to fight for my life, as i got into shooting position, the shadows stop and walked away. i blew a sigh of releif, for fighting right now was not what i wanted to do. i need to find mi familia! I ran down stairs, finding my sis, crying over a dead body. "Gabriela, What's wrong? ?estas bien?" "Si, im alright, but look...." Holding her arms were her beloved, her trusted, boyfriend. I look at her face. "He's dead!!!!" Tears run down her face. "I tried to save him, but these two thugs came in and tried to kill, me, so he tried to protect me, and he died, through a cross fire...." "Oh I'm sorry.........." I grab her hand. "we'll avenge his death, i promesa!" We got up, and went to get our guns.

    We stagard toward the door, trying not to make any big movements or noises. We hid behind the door arch, and stood there till, we thought it was clear. She gave me the signal, and we charged out towards, "the battle". I just stood there for a secound, relizing whats happeneing. The cripz were charging into our city, with rifele's guns and bullets. I look around to find my brother, i sqwint to see in the distance, a bid rading party, was comeing at us. We looked up to see houses burning to the ground, people jumping out of windpws plumitting to there death's. "OMG,!!!!!" my sister cried out. "Look what there doing to our city, our people!!!!!" I turn to her. "We've got to put a stop to this!" "Where's mama?" "I dont know, she might be hiding, even dead!!!!" "Come on let's just these, fools!" We took out our guns and our knife's, Two people charged at me, and i sliced there stomach's. I look over at gabriella, she was calling my name "Maria, Maria, there's mama!!!!" She pointed to a three story, burning window. "Mama!!!!" I ran toward's the front door, but the flame's were too thick to get through. "Mama, jump it's your only hope!!!!" "She stagared out of the window sill sitting in a bush, outside of the window, got ready to jump, but sat back down in fear. "Mama, you gotta jump!!!!" "I know baby, im just too scared!" My mama was a strong person. never had i heard her, say she cant do something cause she was afraid. But, she had a bad fear of falling, ever since the accident that happened with papi. "Hold, on mama i'm coming up!" Screamed, gabriella. "Gaby, no, you'll never makeit!" "Well, i'll die trying!",i grabbed her sweatshirt "you know mama iz all that we got.....!" "your right...." I let go of her. We looked up at mama. "We're comei.......... Look out!!!!!!!!" As mama turned around a full blown, buff man, with a gas mask on, came out of know where, and took in for a swing, but mama blocked it, he swung again, and she blocked that one. He swung again, and this time it hit her in the head ,and didnt block it, and now she's uncountious. "Mama.....!" We both cried in disbeilieve. He grabbed her and bolted her out, the window. She fell through the air like a micsle, dropping to the ground. She fell and hit a beam sticking up, and stuck right through her stomach, And then fire burned her alive. Me and my sis just stood there, in shock and we looked at each other, and just fell to the ground. Some guy came up to us and knocked us out with a baseball bat. Welcome to my life........
