• Fred the Magical Talking Carrot

    Once upon a time, in Vegiewood, there was a carrot. This carrot wasn’t just any

    carrot; it was Fred, the magical talking carrot. Fred loves telling jokes, so he wanted to

    sign up for the talent show, but to Fred has a big surprise for himself.

    Fred was in 5th grade at Vegetables Sing Elementary School but has never been in

    the talent show he thought it was his time to shine. Fred went to the talent show

    additions and waited for his named to be called. “Now would Fred Vegieworth please

    come up?” Fred had heard his name and rushed up to the stage. Fred wanted to tell his

    funniest joke he knew.

    Fred had stared with a knock-knock joke, “knock-knock!”

    Everyone replied, “Who’s there?”

    “Eddie!”

    “Eddie who?”

    “Eddiebody who gets close to me might catch my cold! HA HA HA!”

    The crowd was silent and Fred was getting nervous. He thought it was time for so

    riddles. He thought that everyone would love a great riddle. “Where can you always get

    satisfaction?” is what he started out with.

    “Where?”

    “From the satis-FACTORY. You get it satisfaction and satisfactory. It’s a pun.”

    The PTA woman had said to him, “great job uh… Fred.” Then yelled, “NEXT!”

    Since Fred was still in elementary school he still got into the talent show. Even

    though nobody really laughed at his jokes. Fred was really nervous he wasn’t sure what

    to do except practice, because practice makes perfect.

    To practice Fred, the magical talking carrot, read over every joke in his joke book

    Clean Jokes for Kids. He studied, took notes, and practiced saying them in front of the

    mirror, and he thought he was great.

    After saying all those jokes he got tired of joking around so he started to sing his

    favorite song “Friends Forever.” Fred had written that song himself and it became his

    favorite. He loved singing that song. He even has a dance to it.

    It’s the day of the talent show and Fred is ready to go up. He started practicing

    before he was on next thing he notices is that he’s up. Fred is really nervous and he’s

    sweating like a pig, but there’s no going back now. Time to tell some jokes.

    Fred starts telling jokes but its not going so well for him. No one is laughing! Fred

    to think of something else to do but he’s too nervous. Then he got it, he was going to…

    SING! He chose to sing his favorite song, “Friends Forever.”
    friends, friends forever YAAAAAAAAAA!!! friends friends for ever forever FRIENDS!!!!

    Everyone loved Fred’s singing he had a beautiful voice. Everybody kept saying

    this like, “WOW…he’s AMAZING!” or “What a beautiful voice it’s a choir of angels!”

    After his performance everyone was cheering the walls were even shaking and you could

    hear the wind whistling his name.

    After the talent show everyone became friends with Fred. Everyone kept telling

    him he’s a great singer and he should show more often. Everyone loved Fred and he

    wasn’t nervous anymore. He was happy that he had made new Fred’s just by expressing

    himself in his own special way. Fred, the magical talking carrot, and his new vegetable

    friends had fun together from now on… and they all lived Happily Ever After!
