• A very long time ago there was once a prince named Daniel. Daniel was only nine years old and he loved to play with all the toys in the nursery but his favorite toy was a little princess doll and she would talk to him and play with him as though she was a real girl. Daniel would have talked to her but he couldn't because sadly he was born a mute, never to utter a word to anyone. As a year went by the king found it bothersome that his son spent so much time playing with dolls like a child. No, the king would not stand for all this tomfoolery so one night once everyone had gone to sleep he snuck into the nursery and took the little princess doll. The doll called out for Daniel but her voice was to soft to be heard by anyone. The king locked her away in a drawer and no matter how much she pushed it wouldn't open so she sat there and cried herself to sleep. The next morning when Daniel went to play with the doll he couldn't find her anywhere. He searched and searched but couldn't find her anywhere so he sat there and cried silently. Then he heard a soft pouding in his parents room and went to see what it was. When he finally got the drawer open he saw the princess doll looking up at him. Happy to have found her he caried her back to the nursery where they played together for the rest of the day. Sadly the king had seen them playing and the next day he went in there and took the doll from his son and tore her to shreds right in front of him. You can imagine that with the doll Daniel's happiness was shredded to pieces and he cried and cried until it was impossible to cry anymore. That night an angel crept into the castle and took the remains of the doll and sewed them back together and turned her into a real girl and laid her in the bed next to Daniel. In the morning Daniel was so shocked to see his doll as a real girl that he ran to his mother and said "Mother come look at this it's a miracle!" The queen was so shocked to hear her son speaking that she thought it must have truly been a miracle. So she rushed to her son's room and when she saw the girl lying in the bed she knew it was truly something to behold. When the girl woke up she was just as shocked as Daniel was. He later found out her name was Emily and as they grew up together he found that each day he loved her more and more. One day he asked her to marry him and she accepted. Only a few months after they were married Emily found out she was pregnant and when the baby was born they named him Angelo for the angel that made them as they were that one day many years ago.
