• Scene 2: Arrival at Task-force HQ


    The rest of the ride was rather silent, but Jimmy ((AN: That's how I've changed my style of writing... I refer to Jimmy as Jimmy unless he's talking...)) kept feeling L was watching him and it made him uneasy. Finally they reached a large building downtown. the driver puller up to it and stopped at a gate of sorts, the messed around with a panel. The gate opened and they continued in. There seemed to be a whole parking garage. They parked an got out. The driver did as well he was an elderly man, who L thanked calling him Watari, he followed L then turned to the others realizing they weren't following them.
    "Please come this way."
    There was a large door with a metal detector. One by one they took turns passing through. Once they entered the first thing Jimmy could see was a desk with three computers at it and several screens. The man sitting at one of the computers turned around. He was a bit taller than Rachel but seemed to be about their age.
    "Ryuzaki who the they, and why are they here?" he said rather annoyed, and as if the three weren't there.
    "Light, this is Detective Richard Moore, his daughter Rachel Moore, and Conan Edogawa who is staying with them."
    "Can't we have Misa babysit the little one, I mean this is a crime investigation after all."
    Little one... he doesn't look much older than me.
    "That doesn't sound like hat bad an idea, Rachel would you like to join him with Misa?"
    "Well I don't see why not."
    "Right then. Matsuda, please escort these two to Misa's room."

    After a brief elevator ride Jimmy and Rachel were led a door. Inside way a suite, the primary room was a drawing room with two couches and a table as well as a few cabinets with one wall, entirely windows.
    "Misa," the man with them, Matsuda, called out, "L wants you to keep these two company if you don't mind." he then left and Misa came out from one of the other rooms.
    "Aren't you just the cutest little thing ever!" She said hugging Jimmy so tight he started to suffocate.
    "Can't breath" Conan managed to say.
    "Oh oops! So what's you're name? I'm Misa Amane"
    "I'm Conan Edogawa"
    "Wait," Rachel said, "you're Misa Amane!"
    "Yep! You a fan?"
    "Well..."
    Oh great. I get to listen to them talk about girl things just what I wanted to do when I'm in the same building as the worlds greatest detective.
    "Hey wanna play a game?"
    Jimmy took a second to realize Misa was talking o him.
    "Sure why not!"
    "Okay, why don't you pick?"
    Searching amongst the games the only one Jimmy found interesting was Clue. He picked it out and the three set up.

    After about half an hour of playing Jimmy couldn't stand it anymore. He had to get back into the main room.
    "Um guys I have to go to the bathroom."
    "Okay Conan! take a left and it's the third door down."
    "Okay!"
    As soon as he exited the room he dropped his child-like pretense. He needed to find his way back to the elevator.
