• Chapter 1, Loving Somebody
    Name is Haydey Snow, age 18.. I’m honest but I hate a person who lies and I’m not an ordinary person. People was scared of me because of my looks but I was known as the popular kid in my University because of my intelligence but being the popular kid bugs me. I don’t want to be declare genius or popular.
    “Pfft!” Great, I bump into someone. This sucks. “Watch where you’re going”
    “You must be Haydey.” Huh? “This is the first time I meet you face to face. Hi, I’m Andrew. Sorry about just now, my best friend is searching for me because he needs money to buy his girlfriend a present. Screw him. Ha-ha Bye” He went away. This is the first time a guy treats me nicely. I should go apologize to him. “Andrew!! Wait up! It’s just 3,000 Dollars.” So that must be Andrew’s best friend.
    “Hey you” Who me? I hope not. “Haydey!” What now? “Have you seen Andrew? Wait…. Can I borrow 3,000 dollars from you? I promise I’ll pay back.”
    “Sorry, no money, so excuse me.”
    “Wait” He stretch his arms and touched me “At least tell me where Andrew is.”
    “His at the corner lot of the garbage truck and be sure to dive into the garbage because I remember there was a secret way to a tree house.”
    “Okay thanks.” How stupid. Anyways, “Good Luck with that.”
    “Thanks Haydey.” He smiles. His so cute…
    I wonder what happen to mister want money…. Did he really dive in that garbage? It’s been nearly 3 hours and I haven’t seen him. Hmm…. I better go check it out. “How dare you! You promise you would buy me those earrings. I hate you!” Throws rocks at Rick…
    What is that girl doing? “Hey you, Stop that. We don’t want people to see you throw rocks at people.”
    “I don’t have time to chit chat with a girl like you or listen to what you’re saying. Anyways, bye Mr. not perfect.”
    “What the hell happen?” Rick looks away and says, “Thanks to your stupid direction I’m smelly and I broke up with my girlfriend.”
    “Ha-ha not my fault. You trust people too easily. Anyways, that girl doesn’t look nice. What’s her name?”
    “Dayna Michael and I already know that she’s not nice. She asked me out so I couldn’t just say no.” He is dumb. “Look you shouldn’t be someone you don’t love. Girl will trust you more if you do that.”
    “Then can I be with you?” What? “You said I should be with someone I love right?” I look left and right and said, “Yeah but, but why me?”
    “Because I love you, so you should be with me.” Just like that. He doesn’t get it at all. “The person you love must love you back, AND THEN you can be with her. Get it?” He nodded. “Then I’ll try my best to get you. Heheh this is going to be interesting.” What!? Ugh… Haydey, what did you just do. Damn it!
    “I’m home.” Oh wait nobody’s in, it’s only me. Huh…. Mom where are you? *ring ring* “incoming call from Mr. Damien” Dad. “Haydey, I just bank in your money to your bank account. And if there is anything going on, don’t bother to give me a call. I surely pick up okay?” I answered, “Dad, I surely do that and if you have anything that you want to say to me, just give me a call too. Okay dad, bye.” I hang up. Being far away from a family member is weird. It’s like I’m incomplete. Mom if you could hear this, I want to see you again. Somewhere, anywhere at least I could see you but that could never happen in this world.
    “Hello!!! Is anybody home?!” That voice, could it be Andrew!? “Umm… Yeah. Who’s there?”
    “Andrew. Can I get in, as in ASAP?”
    “Oh, sure… Come on in.” I set the dining table and made dinner. “Sorry, to cause you trouble. My mom and dad were in a fight and saw me running out. I was escaping their argument. I hope you don’t mind me….”
    “…That’s okay. You can sleepover. There’s a guest room up on the left. I’ll put some clothes in the room. I’m alone here so no need to worry about my parents answers.”
    “You live alone?” I nodded and said, “Yeah, my mom died a few years ago and my dad lives far from here. I don’t know where since it’s a private business.”
    “Mine is different. My mom and dad works in the same company in Kings Jewel. It’s a famous company that is owned by my father. My mom and dad always argue about work since I was born. I couldn’t do anything but to hear them. Now, they’re getting divorce.”
    “You don’t mind?” Andrew shook his head and look away. “Besides, they couldn’t get along and they never spend time with me. Why should I get in their way?” Andrew was controlling his tears. “Dinner is ready. Let’s eat.” And I couldn’t do anything but to change the topic.
    The next morning, Andrew gets lectured by the teacher for being late. He said he was getting something and left me. So, I don’t know what he was doing by then. “Pst… Pst….” I look to where the sounds coming from. “Haydey…. Come out for a sec…” Rick! What the hell is he thinking? “Teacher, I’m having stomach pain. May I be excuse?”
    “Yes, of course.” I run outside and meet Rick. “You disturb me!” Rick face turns pale and he looks disturb. “Andrew…He ran to an accident.” What! Andrew was at school, he couldn’t run to an accident. “Don’t lie to me! He was at school a second ago. How could he…?”
    “That wasn’t him. There was a guy who looks like him. His in the Chemical Hospital, room 129. He wants to see you right away.” Why is Rick telling me this so suddenly? What is he planning? “Rick?” I search the room and there was no sign of Rick? I knew he was lying. “I know you like Andrew and set you up. I wanted to know how much you care for him and now I know. You will do anything to see him.”
    “Yeah that’s true. So why couldn’t I do that? Is that wrong?” Rick smiles, “I didn’t say anything. You think that Rick will love you and care for you? You don’t know him. He has problems.”
    “We have our matter so what does this have to do with you?”
    “He has the heart of you.”
