• The first day of a new place is tough, but that's not going to stop me. I ran up to my new room and plopped down on the just placed bed the movers just put down. The movers were friends of my uncle's. "I'll see ya at dinner time Amy" josh called back as he left with his dad. Josh has been my childhood friend for years. He saved me when I was lost. He's had a crush on me since we first met. I've had a crush on him too but I didn’t want to tell him. If we got together than it could never be the same way ever again. I didn't want to lose him like that. Tomorrow would be my first day of school even though it was october 21st. Tomorrow we would be friends and class mates. When I heard everyone outside I ran downstairs and started running around the house dancing listening to leavin' by Jessie McCartney that was in the CD player. I was spinning when I tripped and closed my eyes. The next thing I know I was in the arms of a boy I've never met before. "Hello to you too. My name's Cyrus. May I ask what your's is?" he asked politely. I just looked into his blue crystal's he called eyes. They weren't really crystal's but they looked like sapphires. "Miss? Are you ok?" he asked like a gentleman. "Uh......um....M-my name is....." I started to say when his eye's started sparkling with curiosity. "Yes?" he asked eagerly. "M-my name is Amy..." I said. Then his little sister bounced in. "Hi big brother. Hi neighbor. I'm Eliza." she smiled. They looked a lot alike. He had sapphire eye's and she had emerald eye's. She had long curly brown hair and he had blonde skater hair. It was kinda long but not much. I then realized that i was still in his arms. "Uh....um.....you can put me down....i-if you want." I said blushing. He then started laughing at me and so did his sister. "I think I'd have to get to know you." he said putting me down so I can stand. "Well see ya around, Miss Amy." he threw over his shoulder to me. my mom came in and said hello to him as she passed. Once they were out the door I sighed in relief and closed my eyes and started to collapse. "Amy!!" my mom yelled as she caught me by the arm. I wanted to be with him more. My face was as red as a strawberry. I then stood up straight and sat on the couch. I sat there next to the window staring out into space, thinking about Cyrus. the next thing i knew i was being poked in my stomache. "Hello? Amy?! Please come back down to earth! Please?!" said the voice. It was Josh. "O-oh...hi Josh" i said still in space even tho i looked over at him. It was now 7p.m.
