Prolouge
I was walking through a cold alley taking a short cut to my appartment. I kept getting this strange feeling that someone was following me. Its when I stopped turned around, and there was nothing there. Then I felt two hands holding my shoulders with a tight grasp. There was a breath next to my ear, then in a low voice a man said to me "You will be my bride." I screamed in terror when I felt something like two icy cold needles go through my neck before I blacked out.
Part1 Bad Day
"Hi my name is Mae Elsberg, I'm eighteen, and I'm applying to this job to be a photographer."
I said while trying to make a good impression for my interview. " Well Mae it seems that you do have quite a bit of talent, but...."
Oh no not the "but" part I thought while trying to stay calm.
"....but it seems you don't have the were looking for. I'm sorry, but we have to decline."
Said the owner of the best photo shop in New York.
" That's fine, I'm sorry for wasting your time."
This was the sixth interview I had, I didn't get. After that bad job interview I went to go tell my best friend at her job.
"Oh come on you'll find a job sometime soon!"
Said my best friend Jane. Jane worked as a waitress at a cafe' .
"I'm never going suceed at my dreams."I was to depressed to be talking positive. "Don't say that. Look at me I was fired alot because of how I didn't like my bosses yelled at me. So I got a job at a cafe' joint because it's relaxing." She said proudfully.
" I just noticed something. All my friends are terrible at finding a job." I took a sip of my drink after finishing what I said. "Okay that's it." "What's it?" I said while seeing that little twinkle in her eyes. "I'm taking you later this week." Jane said standing up glaring down at me. " What you can't....." "You will go no matter what, and if you stay locked in you apartment, I'll ask for the key from the manager." She said triumphantly. "Fine, but you're not dressing me uplike a barbiedoll." I said.
After we spoke to eachother a bit more and decided a time for Jane's shopping time, I decided to go home.
"Taxi!" I yelled while trying to get a drivers attention. " Oh god. Are all these drivers here deaf?" None of these divers would pull over for me. There were people being picked up right next to me. " Do you need help Miss?" The voice was coming from a man. When I turned around he had dark brown hair with coal like eyes. He looked about my age, probaly a couple years older though. "Uhmm...... Oh S-sure." A shade of pink started to cross on my cheeks. ' What an idiot for stuttering like that.' I thought while starring at the man who pulled over a taxi for me. " Would you mind if I rode in the taxi with you Miss? All the other ones seem to taken." He asked in a very gentlemanly way holding the door open for me to get in the taxi. "Not at all, but I'm not sure if we're really going places that are close to eachother." " That's alright. You can go to where you were going first, then I'll go to my destonation." "O.k. Thanks, by the way I didn't catch your name back on the street. Mine's Mae." " I'm Alastair. Nice to meet you."
Once we were on our way, we did not look, or say a word to eachother. Not till I got out. " No need to pay the driver Mae." Alastair said. "Why not?"
"I'll pay for it." " I couldn't let you do that it would feel to ackward."
"Don't worry about it I'm trying to be nice to you." " Well o.k. then. I guess I'll see you around then." " See you Mae." He said with a smile on his face when I left the taxi.
Alastair's Prov.
"Can you please turn the corner on the next street, then drive into the alley on the left." Asked Alastair to the driver. "Why should I drive into the alley? Couldn't you walk into the alley yourself?" The driver asked rudely. " Because that street is dangerous at night, and I live there." " Why? You could walk still." "I'll pay you double." After thinking it over the driver decided that it was a good idead to try and earn some extra cash. " Fine then." He said impaciently. They began to drive down the busy street of New York. Alastair's eyes began to turn a bright red against his dark chocolate hair. "Which alley was it agian Sir. I couldn't remember which one." " It's the third one on the left." " O.K." As they turned into the alley Alastair's breathing became faster, and you could see the glistening white fangs hanging over his bottom lip. " You can get out now." Said the impatient driver in the front seat. Alastair jumped in the front seat instead of getting out throught the back. " Hey what are you doing up here! You were suppose to get out and give me the money!" Said the driver. As Alastair stared into the darkness. Breathing heavely he spoke sounding very annoyed about something. " You know what I hate about greedy people like you." Alastair said with each word he got closer to the driver. " Sir what are you doing?! NO! WAIT NO!" A blood curdling scream then tore through the city lighted night. Where nobody heard him over the bussiling sounds of the city. Alastair jumped out of the taxi carrying the man's back along towards a dumpster. " I hate drinking from greedy peoples blood. It's so distasteful, but it will yield my thrirst for now." He told himself while he threw the body into the dumpster, and walked back into the streets of New York city.
Mae's Prov.
"Finally, I got out of that car." Mae said as she walked up the cement path that lead to the appartment building . " Why hello Mae." Said the manager of the appartment building complex. The manager was a kind old lady who always was kind to Mae. "Hello, Ms. Sophey." " So did you find a job today?" " Nope." " Well sweety I was looking in the newspaper and this new place needs a photographer ." Ms. Sophey said sounding like it was a good idea. "O.K. Sophey, I'll try it since you suggested it ." I said while walking to the stairs to get to my room in the building. I could hear Ms. Sophey's feet go back to her desk before I reached the next floor where the sound stopped. As I got to my door I reached into my faded blue jeans to get my keys.
I put the key in the door and it opened up when I turned it. My appartment was nothing special just a coach, t.v, bedroom, small kitchen, and a bathroom. I grabbed a banana to eat, and after that I plopped on my bed to sleep. Falling asleep once my head hit the pillow.

I would have rated it high if you had broken the paragraphs where the dialogue changed.
Example:
"Not at all, but .... to eachother." " That's alright. You.... my destonation."
Should have been:
"Not at all, but .... to each other."
"That's alright. You can ......"
That way it is clear who is speaking. It was confusing when the two girls were talking.
Otherwise, good premise and interesting main character. - Report As Spam

- Keep going, you have a great idea. I saw no grammar mistakes, and this Alastair is right. Greedy people always do have distasteful blood. Not...that I would know, of course.
