• There once was a fair maiden. Many years ago she was locked away inside herself trapt in a land of sorrow and despair. She waited so long to find someone to see the light, and finally take her away from that horrible place. All the noble men called on to fetch the girl died. All the kings men that tried to retrive the girl perished aswell.

The wise king, now started to figure there was a spell casted on this young girl, making her incapable to get out. He figured that if he continued to send his men to get her, they would all die out, bringing down his kingdom along with them. The king decided to leave the girl.

This maiden was cursed indeed. Her curse was immortality. Only the one with the true key could get past the horrid things in the valley before her. So far she's found no one fitting the requirements. There she sat, alone. She sang songs to try and keep her cheerful. She would recite poetry to keep herself inspired.

One day, the maiden decided to wonder away from her resting spot. She soon discovered that the valley she was in, what surrounded by a tremendous gate. No matter how many times she circled the valley, she couldn't find a way out. The king had locked her away...forever. Knowing now no one could save her, she collapsed onto a dead tree, and wept.

The singing stopped. The poetry stopped. The maiden lost hope. Now all she did was wonder around the dead valley. Picking off the dried out gray petals on flowers. Rubbing her feet against the brown, un-cared for grass. Starring up at the clouded gray sky, constantly weeping.

The maiden had enough. If her beauty wasn't enough to save her, and her personality wasn't enough to sway someone, what could save her? The maiden decided to end it all. She broke off a dead piece of bark from the tree where she had discovered her fate, and held it to her neck.

As she was about the pull the sharp bark across her neck, a voice called...

"Girl...why're you out here?", A gentleman said.

"How did thou find me?", The maiden said, dropping the bark.

"I heard weeping...was that you? Someone with such grace as you should never shead a single tear...Won't you come back to the kingdom with me?", He asked.

"Theres nothing more that I wish for than to leave this wretched place...", She said with tears in her eyes.

The maiden had cried so much over the years, and had been under so much stress...that her eyes turned a permanent red, and her once black hair, turned silver...

"Then do leave this place...don't take a second thought on it. Don't cry...Everythings alright from here on out. I vow to protect you...for as long as I shall live", The knight said, bowing.

The maiden follwed the knight as he lead her over the gate and out of the valley. For the first time in over a century, the maiden finally saw the light...
