    ( Chapter 1 )

    As I finished writing my second letter, I put it in an envelope and sealed it tight. I sighed in happiness as I insert it into the only mail slot in the whole village. As I turned around to head home, I saw my dad standing four feet away from me. "Son, I long waited for this moment the day you were born, I'm proud of you." Those words hit me like a sack of bricks. Trying to hold back tears I finally said. "Thanks dad." And he pat me on the back, and returned home side by side.
    One day, there was a knock on the door. "I'll get it." I said as I got up from our dinner table. I was in the middle of drawing a G.E.W picture to hang up in my room. As I opened the door, a wave of shock and surprise shot up my spine. There in front of me, was a 7 ft tall G.E.W soldier standing right in front of me at the door. "We need your help, we're apart of the G.E.W, we got your message. Welcome aboard new recruit." I looked at my parents and to my surprise, they nodded. "Go get your stuff, and be safe Lonny." My mom said in tears. 6 minutes later, I'm out the door and hop into a hummer followed by my best friend, Gron. We looked at each other in surprise. Turns out he's living my same dream. "Ready Londro?" I nod. And off we went, talking all through the trip.
