    Mason
Mason sat at home thinking of Ivy. His parent’s anger filled words drifted up the steps. Mason stood and shut his bedroom door muffling the sound of his parent’s fighting. Mason closed his eyes to practice in front of him the force field grew. A power only he possessed he was special for sure. He banished those words from his head. But still he thought about it, the one thing he couldn’t share with Ivy. If he told her she would be in danger for sure and he couldn’t let that happen. The force field broke in front of him as he thought of her again. Her flowing red hair and soft brown eyes like melted chocolate. Her smile, her laugh swirling around him. The shape of her lips- stop before something goes wrong you have to be careful they are after you. These truth’s must stay untold the voice whispered in his head.

    Ivy

You can’t tell him Ivy, you know that. I nodded to show I was listening but I was having second thoughts

But Ace wouldn’t it be easier if he knew? We could get through it toge-

NO! You would put him in grave danger.

Ace! Don’t talk that way! My thought s screamed back at voice that tormented me. Just stop.

I’m sorry Ivy but you know it is true. I know you hate keeping secrets from him but you must listen to me I only try to-

Don’t say help it’s bad enough that all supernaturals have their own inner voice that nags them all the time but don’t say all you’re doing is helping.

But Ivy it’s true! I know you don’t like having me inside your head but one day I won’t be here

    GOOD I CAN’T WAIT!

When I’m not here it will be the day you will need me the most. I stopped for a second thinking

I thought you were only supposed to give me information when I need it! Not make me worry of what is to come!

Yes Ivy you are right but this is something you need to know. Keep these things secret no one must know especially Mason.

Fine. That word rang through my head as Ace left. I just agreed to something, to keep the truth untold.
