• The clashing begins. The rematch goes smooth... at least until Ryu ALMOST killed Katherine. Luckily, I decided to take the blow for her and found myself impaled and badly wounded. Nonetheless, Ryu's men are killed and we prevailed against him and Sho Tsuzumaki.

    [the fighting begins. Katherine whacks one of the renegade soldiers with her huge staff]

    Crystal Cheung: [rock armor for Katherine and me]

    Me: [healing halo for all of us]

    Sho Tsuzumaki: [charges at me with his sword, but I counterattack with hack and slash, a combination of ring attacks]

    Crystal Cheung: [solar rays at Ryu and Sho]

    Ryu Kuronagi: Ouch, damn you! [he charges at Crystal, but I stop him just in time]

    Katherine Crane: [she manages to kill two of the soldiers and fights with the third]

    Crystal Cheung: [protects herself with fire rain and injures the other soldiers]

    Me: You don't even have a chance, Ryu!

    Ryu Kuronagi: Oh, really? [lashes out a few blows, even though I parry them with perfect timing] I shall tire you out, you damn filthy dog!

    Sho Tsuzumaki: [clashes with Katherine, but Crystal stuns him with shark attack, giving Katherine the opportunity to land a few blows at him]

    Me: [slashes Ryu in the left leg and fights two of the soldiers. Both are impaled and slashed to death]

    Katherine Crane: [she and Crystal Cheung kill a renegade Gaian soldier]

    [three soldiers left....]

    Ryu Kuronagi: Damn you, all! You think this is easy for the three of you? Well, you may have killed the majority of my men, but I will not tolerate a second loss!

    Me: Bring it on, then!

    Sho Tsuzumaki: I'll finish you off! [charges at me with his sword, but I dodged]

    Crystal Cheung: [pot lid to protect me, deflecting Sho's attack and making him impale a sixth soldier by mistake, killing him]

    Me: [attacks Sho in the right hip]

    Sho Tsuzumaki: [yells in pain] You are one hell of a b*****d!

    Crystal Cheung: [wounded the last two soldiers with water balloon, and Katherine finishes them off by slitting their throats with a small knife]

    Me: [lands a few colossal blows at Sho]

    Ryu Kuronagi: [he and Katherine clash, but Ryu slashes her in the right leg and halfway impales her in the stomach]

    Katherine Crane: Aaaaaaaah!

    Ryu Kuronagi: [evil laughter] I told you I would win again!

    Me: [flips over Sho and impales him in the left side of his torso, wounded him. I see Katherine and Ryu] No......

    Katherine Crane: [in pain] No.... the undead..... Crystal.... David....

    Crystal Cheung: Kat! [she tries to charge, but Ryu briefly knocks her out with a flash of thunder]

    Ryu Kuronagi: Insolent girl! You're just pathetic! Now... allow me to finish you off....

    Me: NOOOO!!!!!!!

    [Ryu ultimately tries to impale Katherine again, but at the last moment.... I ran in front of her just in time. Ryu badly impales me straight through]

    Katherine Crane: [gasp]

    Me: [groaning in pain]

    Ryu Kuronagi: What? NOOO!!!!! [pulls the sword out] Ah, no matter.... you were foolish to step in, anyway. But at least I finished you off.

    Katherine Crane: NO!!!!!! [she gets up with all her strength and deals a tremendous blow to Ryu's head with her huge staff]

    Ryu Kuronagi: [he is knocked back] Aaaaaah!

    Sho Tsuzumaki: [staggers to his feet, helping Ryu up]

    Crystal Cheung: [regains consciousness and uses a fire blast at the two of them]

    [Ryu and Sho are almost finished; they decided to retreat again]

    Ryu Kuronagi: Quick, retreat for now, Sho!

    Sho Tsuzumaki: Right!

    [the two manage to retreat despite their injuries]

    Katherine Crane: [she and Crystal help me up, where we are near the building wall] David! DAVID! Are you alright?

    Crystal Cheung: [wish]

    Katherine Crane: David, please answer me!

    Me: [groaning] Kat.... Crystal....

    Crystal Cheung: We're here for you. Just hang on; we'll patch you up!

    Katherine Crane: You saved me. How can I thank you enough?

    Crystal Cheung: I give you mines also since you saved me earlier when we first met in Rougeport while Ryu was harassing me.

    Me: [badly injured] Listen... it was nothing... really. You must both know that we're a team. We fight, we heal, we sacrifice, we look out for each other.

    Katherine Crane: Well, look on the bright side..... at least we won.

    Crystal Cheung: We sure did.

    Me: Yes, we did. I didn't think Ryu would lose to use twice in one day.

    Crystal Cheung: He would not stand a chance against all of us.

    Katherine Crane: We're a powerful resistance, Dave. We always will be. [smiles warmly]

    [the two embrace me as part of their gratitude]
