"Dinner!" a woman in a relatively old age called. A boy, approximately age 12, runs into the room. This was Zhypr Crown.
"What is it?" he said, looking at the plate of "green goop", as he called it.
"It's Spinach Casserole," the woman said.
Zhypr didn't say anything. He knew his Aunt was an incredible fighter... actually, after his parents had died, Zhypr's Aunt took him in and started training him at physical combat. Personally, she wasn't good at it, but she managed. Maybe even too well; Zhypr was blooming extremely quickly. By the age of 7, he could split a metal brick into 2 with a kick. His arms were weaker than any of his muscles, but they were strong enough to bench 2,000 lbs. He tasted it, and loved it almost immediately.
"I knew you'd like it. Nobody doesn't like my Spinach Casserole." He was almost happy eating this, but he started tasting something odd. Something... salty? It tasted like nothing he had tasted before.
"Auntie, what's in this?" he asked as the casserole began turning red, "And why is it changing colours?"
His aunt looked at him as if he was crazy. "What are you talking about? It's still green, like it always has been." Zhypr began to choke. "Zy? Zy?!".
She began the Heimlich maneuver. When she let Zhypr rest, he punched her in the stomach. It was like she had been hit with a wrecking ball.
Zhypr went ballistic. His eyes grew to be a distorted red. He stormed through the city, killing anything that got in his way. He had never done this before. He couldn't think. It was almost as if he was being possessed. He walked up to the Royal Palace. Two Overlord's Guards were standing guard, along with an Elite Sage. Zhypr didn't mind them... until they attacked him. He fought back, and the two Guards lay dead on the floor in a matter of seconds. They had managed to hold him off long enough for the Sage to expunge the... whatever was possessing him.
"You are guilty of the slaying of two Overlord Guardians of the Royal Palace," decreed the King.
"He wasn't concious!!" His aunt exclaimed.
"You dare speak against the King?!" the King boomed. "You are to be executed, and the child is to suffer a fate far worse than death."
"No... Not Zy... Not Zhypr... Anything but that!!" The aunt was practically whispering and yelling simulatenously.
"Send the boy to the Ring!!"
"NOOOOOO!!!!!" the aunt cried. The Overlord's Guardians dragged the woman away, to be executed. The King smirked at the boy.
"Now it's your turn for pain," he said confidently.
At this point, Zhypr had no idea what was going on. He walked calmly with the Guards, and got to a Transmutation Circle. A Transmutation Circle was a magical barrier which removed people's souls and mutated them into a disgusting form. He was forced to go into the circle...
"IT'S BEEN TWO DAYS!! WHY HASN'T HE BROKEN YET?!" One of the Guards screamed.
"Relax, Gux... he'll break soon," the other Guard said calmly. Indeed, Zhypr was breaking. His spirit was huge, as was his soul, but he started feeling pain. Darkness creeping around him. It took hold of him...
"Wake up... Wake up!!" A boy was screaming at Zhypr. "Oh, good. See guys, I told you he wasn't dead!!" A group of people crowded Zhypr, and he wondered, Why is everbody gawking at me?
"You've been unconscious for years!" One kid said, almost answering his thoughts. Years? "After you escaped from the Transmutation Circle, which was pretty impressive, by the way... You fainted behind the castle. Me and my friends found you, but you seem like you have somewhere to be?"
"Yeah, I do..." Zhypr said, lying to get away. If he didn't have a home, he would just live on the streets. How hard could that be?
