    I woke to the annoying sound of my alarm clock. Am I the only one who would just love to smash it up? Clumsily, I searched for the off button. When I got that sorted, I went to my closet to find an outfit for today. Opening the doors to my closet, I stepped inside.
    My closet is my favourite place. Most of my adored objects were here. I look around at my clothes. Boy, did I have a lot of clothes. I finally settled for a denim mini-skirt, and a purple hoodie.
    “Jade, breakfast!” came my mother’s voice as I was combing my hair.
    “In a minute!”
    I ran down the stairs, in a hurry. I quickly grabbed my toast and ran out the door.
