Silent was the darker-furred of her and her sister. She was a dark grey and had red eyes. The pupils were shaped as a dragon's, slitted and adding an eerie look to the creature. Her wing bows were similar in shade, syncing with her coat, but the webbing in between was black as pitch. There were four-inch long black horns on Silent's body, starting from the dome of her head to the base of her winges. Not real weapons, sure, but intimidating. She had longer fangs than normal, her canines being around an inch longer than normal, but not too long to be noticed until it was too late. She was also the older, and was almost always off somewhere exploring or hunting.
When they were pups, the two would always play-fight and roll around to test the other's strength. Silent was always the victor, her thicker bones making her the stronger of the sisters, stronger than little sister Mist.
Silent was the reclusive, but outspoken of the two, and she always found herself defending Mist. She didn't mind, but Mist was the only one she ever showed alot of kindness to. Other than standing up for the weaker, whose sweetness attracted bullies, she was off on her own or hunting with her sister. of course, she had a few friends, but only that: Only a few.
They continued to stay close, even through the hectic chaos of the first-found bodies of dead wolves all over the plains.
Once the murders began to escalate, the sisters' parents, the pack's Alphas, were murdered. This seemed to rock and throe the ties between the girls and their pack, but on the outside nothing between the two actually changed.
Mist was a bit melancholy, but her attitude was still smiles around the pack members. They offered her condolences. For Silent, no one bothered talking to her to begin with. She became even more reclusive, and antisocial.
She had..She just had all this pent up tension and agitation...Mist was all happiness in front of others, but she let her sadness' weight crash onto Silent's shoulders when they were alone. As if the dark wolf had no problems of her own! Mist would stand there moping while Silent did that all by herself, when her sister was there and when her sister was busy getting sympathy. Why couldn't her sister show her that happiness she showed everyone else? Why was she intent on making her fellow orphan's issues bigger?!
Silent began using that fury, and lashed out in violent acts against pack members. Then again, didn't they deserve it? Silent would hear them muttering about herself, about how much of a lost cause she was...But did anyone ever thake the time to ask if she was alright?!
No one even cared!
Well, one night, amidst the murders still going on in the middle of the night, Silent crept up the mountains. She had been unable to cry herself to sleep, and instead walked as her wet face dried. Someone was there as well, someone that could've very well been the leader of the rouges committing all these crimes against the Plains' Packs...And that leader offered help to Silent. She could get back at those that didn't care...
In her rage, agitation, and frustrating inner agony, Silent agreed to be trained by these rouges, and attack her own packs. She must not have been thinking clearly...She wasn't! If she was, would she have agreed to help? because, if she had remembered, these rouges killed her parents!
Well, she decided to live undercover, under this kind of influence....She trained and grew into a formidable foe for anyone's combat skills. She participated in the killings of more than a few of the pack members scattered, and learned all about the rouges' plans. You'd think she'd do a double-crossing move, but no. Her mind was eerily bent on gory, traiterous revenge.
After having carried out so many bloody deeds in the cloak of night, she decided it was time to comit the same sin yet again. Yet...This time perhaps she was a bit too loud? Her sister had been awoken...But no one would know it was on purpose. No one but Silent would know that she wanted to be found out.
The dark femaletrekked to a pack further away on the flatlends, and prodded the Omega awake. He was a recruit as well, like her. The two got into a talk full of whispers and nods. Silent grew a smirk, and the scapegoat shook as he woke his own Alpha male. Tired and groggy, the aging male walked slowly after his Omega as he was asked, and soon they were gone. Silent left for the trees, and knew Mist, now awake and having followed clumsily with sleep, wasn't watching her sister dissappear. After watching the omega talk to his leader, everything was going according to plan. Silent smiled. Maybe..Maybe it had a hint of sadness in it?
From the distance, Mist wouldn't be able to hear the alpha's conversation. It wasn't important. The omega had used a lie to get the old alpha out of bed and was now rambling on with that lie, until her, Silent's, cue. The flick of Mr. Omega's tail sent Silent from the woods to the pair in seconds, before she launched herself at the alpha and battered him with paws. Then, with the exhausted leader shaking, Silent spoke another word or two that Mist wouldn't hear. Then the omega pinned down the alpha with strength no one knew he had, and the nearly-black accomplice delivered the killing blow, or bite, to the jugular.
Silent noticed her sister, with her excellent red-eyed vision, retreat into the forest. She felt a pang of guilty success, and it wasn't because the kill had ended. it was because Mist had seen the murder. She knew her sister would n't tell, not for awhile at least, but...Now she knew..
Three days alter, after coming home to a few regular days, Silent was called out publicly by the council. Along with the scapegot omega she'd killed with three nights ago. They started accusing of the murders and the culprits. So, her sister had told...with a sigh and a personal smile, Silent listened as she heard her punishment bellowed out for all to hear. She was to be exiled, to the mountains with the rouges. That was fine, unexpectedly leniant, but not a big deal. She was one of them anyways...The omega was not as lucky. His throat was torn out for the others to see, before they sent her on her way. Silent felt the eyes of ehr sister follwoing her long after everyone had gone back to their daily duties. Letting Silent go was a mistake.
weeks past, and word of the plains' wolves preparing for an all-out brawl seeped into the camp of the rouges, Silent being a highly ranked one with her vicious brutality. The rouges began training as well, only with less...Peaceful manners. A few were killed during training...But casualties amongst eachother were prevented by separating the wolves. The separations were those with venom, those that could fly adequately, and those with better ground-fighting skills. Because some were more potent, the venoms lost some fighters during training. More so than the others, in fact. training for the fliers was causing the weaker to become easily injured. This was justified by the leader saying that this singled out the strongest.
The sisters didn't see eachother for months after the exile, and even then each only glanced a pelt that could've been the other. Silent had grown impresively, her wingspan was longer than most and her claws were razors. Just like her teeth, in fact. And the horns on her head now had use as a weapon, thanks to training. She had also become more agile, and was sent to fight many times. She saw her sister from time to time, but...She wouldn't dare speak. There would be a time, the time would come, when they'd confront eachother. Silent just had to say something...She had to confess the truths....Starting by saying that Mist was awakened on purpose, that night she witnessed Silent murder that one alpha...if Silent had been careful as usual, Mist never would have found out...
The memory of her parents had disappated, along with fear of blood, and murdering..She just feared now, the day she'd meet her sister in battle. Who knew what she'd learned? Silent just prayed she get enough time to explain, before one killed the other...She wasn't exactly afraid of dying, but she didnt plan on it anytime soon. She promised herself, and the others, that she'd fight to the death to save herself. And just the same, everyone had promised to let her alone when the time came for them to fight eachother. They'd let this matter be settled amongst the siblings themselves...
