• “So…” there were only Scarlett and Royk left on the Great Pavilion.
“I have some inventories to do, not far from here. You should get some sleep.” A servant brought the reins of Royk’s horse to him.
“I’m not sleepy yet.” Royk turned his gaze toward Scarlett, surprised.
    “Oh?”
“I’m going for a walk.” Scarlett turns around and walk, her destination was not far and was in her sight.
“It’s already nightfall.” Royk followed her but she continued to walk.
    “So?”
    “You’re a woman.”
“Yeah?” Royk saw the direction she’s heading and added. “It’s dangerous; this camp is full of men. You’re the only woman in this camp.”
“I can take care of myself, thanks for worrying General.”
“My lady?” Scarlett stopped, turning around.
“Had anyone ever told you that you’re stubborn as a mule?” Scarlett shrugged her shoulders, didn’t even bother to deny it. Royk seems tired of trying and he sighed. “Take my Night with you.”
“Your what?” for a moment Scarlett misunderstood him.
“My horse. Please. I insist.” Scarlett turns her gaze toward the horse; it was a beauty. “But I don’t know how to ride a horse.”
“You’re heading to the Shari-mar lake right?” Scarlett walks back at him, nodding. Royk pulled the head of the horse gently, and the horse obeyed. Scarlett watches as his forehead touches the horse head and his lips utter a few words that she could not understand. Slowly a silver light appeared from his forehead and seeped into the horse head. Scarlett’s jaw dropped. “What are you doing...?”
Royk pulled his head away and slowly rubbing the horse mane and the horse neighed. “Come. Just sit quietly on his back and be gentle with him, he’ll take you to the lake.”
Slowly Royk helped her up the black stallion. “Wh...What?” Royk slaps gently to Nights buttock and the horse moved, she holds tightly to the reins. Scarlett turned her head around.
“You speak horse?” from the distance, Scarlett saw the man laughed, “I wouldn’t put it that way but yeah, some of the things that I can do.”

    To be continued...
