“Hermione dear! Can you come out here, please?” Hermione’s mother called from their living room. Hermione stopped with her chores, set the wet glasses down, and walked to the living room where her mother and father were at.
“Yes Mum? I was doing the dishes, what do you need?” she asked her mother. Her father looked at her with a weak smile, but sadness and regret in his eyes. Hermione was confused beyond belief. She had never seen this expression on her father’s face before. Was he falling ill?
“Dad! Are you okay? What’s wrong?” Hermione questioned. When her mother spoke there was regret in her voice.
“Jason isn’t your real father…” Her mother said, looking down. Hermione was baffled. Speechless.
“What! That’s not right! If she’s not my mother then who the hell is?” Draco shouted at his father. His so called mother was crying on the couch. Draco’s father smacked him.
“Such language will not be used in this house! Neither will that tone of yours! I don’t know where you got that from. Not from me certainly.”
“Then I got it from my real mother… I’m turning eighteen soon. I’m leaving,” Draco mumbled and went upstairs to pack his things.
“You need to tell him that he’s related to the muggle born Granger,” His mother said. He heard this and slammed his door shut.
“Granger?!? Her mother is my mother?!? But how? Unless... Her mother was muggle born as well… I need to talk to her.”
Draco left his things were they were and took off out the window on his broomstick.
“A Malfoy?!? I can’t be a Malfoy Mum! The Malfoy’s are rude, snide, selfish, harming, cruel, evilest people of all wizard next to we all know who!”
“I’m sorry we kept it a secret for so long… He’ll be turning eighteen in two weeks. Your birthday is nine months after is. I’m sorry sweetheart,” Her mother told her, trying to fight back tears. Her father looking down in shame, Hermione didn’t know what to do or what to say. Maybe Draco’s parents hadn’t told him? So he wouldn’t need to know.
There was a knock at the door. Her mother answered the door, then gasped. Hermione walked over to see none other than Draco Malfoy standing in the rain with the same confused look Hermione had on her face.
“So you know to, eh?” he asked. Hermione nodded.
“If you’re my mother, then why did this and how did this happen?” He asked.
“Draco, you’re soaked. Come in side. Please,” their mother said. He nodded and came inside. Hermione handed him a towel. He took it and nearly smiled then sneered at her. She rolled her eyes.
“After Hermione was born, he had noticed she was muggle born. I later on told him about me being the same way, and then he took you and left. He never came back to see little Hermione. He never let me come to see you…”
Draco’s eyes were soft and he had a look on his face Hermione had never seen before. He was feeling sympathetic towards their mother.
“Me and my father got into an argument before I left. He doesn’t know I’m here. He thinks I’ve left the house for good… Which I plan to do soon now. He shouldn’t have kept this secret for so long from me! From us! But now I can see why Hermione has a rude attitude like I do at times,” Draco said laughing.
“And I see why when you get scared and run like a sissy little boy that it reminds me of my mother every time she sees a bug,” Hermione said. He looked at her glaring a little.
“If you’re leaving the Malfoy mansion, would you like to live with us?” their mother asked. They both looked at her in shock.
“Me? Live with Granger? I don’t think so!” He shouted.
“I don’t want to live down the hall from Malfoy.”
“Oh hush up. You’d enjoy it,” he said. Hermione laughed.
“In your dreams!”
“Both of you stop it! Draco, move in with us. I wasn’t around to watch you grow up as a child. I want to do the best I can to be a mother to you for the rest of my life now. Please?”
Draco looked at her with the same soft look as before. He sighed and hugged her. Their mother started to cry, and he was about to back off when he realized, maybe being a little nicer toward people would be better. If Hermione was really a Malfoy and could do it, he could too.
He let go of their mother and put an arm around Hermione’s shoulders.
“Looks like I’m moving in… Sis.”
“That’s great…”
“What about Potter? Would this affect you’re friendship with him?”
“It is what it is… Harry and Ron will have to get used to it. Just like we will, and quit with the nice brother stuff. It’s weird for you to act like that.”
“Remember. We’re just like each other. Only half Malfoy, half Granger. Granted I have more Malfoy as you do granger in you,” He said taking his arm off. Hermione nodded.
“Since you live here now, go finish washing the dishes. Big brother,” Hermione said, emphasizing the brother part.. Draco sighed and walked off.

Description:
This was a fanfiction that was requested on DeviantART.com
To be honest, I did not like the idea of Hermione being Draco's sister; but the person who requested it loved it. She, in return, drew a picture of what my Harry Potter OC (Jessica Potter) looks like in her mind for me. If you would like to see the picture or read the story, PM me and I'll send you the link. - Date: 01/13/2012
