Tiny blue drops float down from the sky;
Showering everything as it goes by.
I'm like a flower, I love the rain;
And like a flower, I'm destroyed in hurricanes.
I see a bright pattern over my head;
A lightning flash can never be dead.
I count out loud, one, two, three,
Then gentle drums rumble; they're playing for me.
In my veins, I feel a chill;
The drops are getting colder, still.
Heaven plays their drums again;
And each drop begins to meet the end.
I jump inside as it begins to hail.
Creating a white, crystal veil.
I'm like a flower. I love the rain,
And now it's raining diamonds. Yay!

hey, someone who loves thunderstorms like I do. Nice job, especially considering the difficulty of making words rhyme and still say what you want them to. I myself have given up on rhyming and focused more on flow and rhythm. Anyway, nice job on the poem. It made me happy smile
