To end the pain in my heart I have to scream it out loud
To end the sorrow I keep inside I need to break it out
To move on I need to take a step
To go on I need to not be afraid
Time to move on

I know my sanctuary has fallen
I know my dream is lost
I realize what work I put in
Has up and left and gone
Time to move on

I see that rumble on the floor
I heard the door slam close
My breath was almost lost
But now I see what wasn’t completely lost
Time to move on

My heart didn’t shatter
My mind kept all the things that matter
I see what I need
I see what truly needed to be
Time to move on
Time to press forward
Time to go on

well, it's an average good poem, better than most but not enough to be great. But I like how you used the wordings.... makes me sad somewhat... crying
