Here is the key.
Open the cell and join me. Alone.
Trapped in the prison of a pessimistic mind with candles long since wasted illuminating sunny days.
Hope, their hoax. The trick used to make reality surreal.
And all the while despair and sorrow swim in an endless circle.
And in their center,
There is death.

- Title: Prison Of A Pessimistic Mind
- Artist: EverestBeverest
- Description: Alrite, I'm currently working on a very large poem, but instead of rushing it and getting it to you by tomorrow I decided to rest my mind from it for a while. HOWEVER since I like writing poems I'm still writing them, and today I decided to try a form of poetry I don't use very often. Free-verse. Since I pretty much never use this "format" I'm sorry if it sucks. It's mostly just an experiment and to pass the time a little quicker. Hope you enjoy it.

Aw...I wanted to make sure I got to be the first one to comment on this, but when I saw you had submitted something I also had to get back to my homework.
Anyway, your poem is fantastic like your other ones, and it's nice to see a poem that doesn't rhyme. Of course I'll give you a 5/5! - Report As Spam
