Everytime another inner demon I defeat
another twice as strong takes its place
why does my inner darkness spawn so many monsters?
for every angel, a legion
I seem to have
the seven sins of the greatest mortal failings
such demons never seem to take honest shapes
the greatest lie
to know the darkest parts of oneself
yet is it not the darkest parts that destroy us?
why does nothing
appear in the black and white like its supposed to be
instead all I see is shades of gray?
