    There are so many answers

    it is a holy day
    on which in a country far away
    mary gave birth to jesus
    just to redeem us

    it is a holiday
    when you give presents away,
    bring joy to others
    and make sure noone suffers

    it is a time of the year
    to spend with someone dear
    to celebrate with your family and friends
    hoping it never ends

    so on christmas eve
    I want to believe
    in this happy time,
    believe that right now it's mine
