As you look at me,
My stomach starts to churn.
With that look you're giving me,
Oh, I wish you'd just scoff and turn.
Condescending phrases
Seem to be the error of my ways
But what about you,
And your life that's just a series of plays?
I don't like that smile of yours
With that "greater than thou" tone
Why don't you get a life,
And leave me alone?
I don't mean to be rude,
But you aren't fooling anyone.
Even a baby can see through you:
That's why he's crying, hun.
You call me stupid and loser,
Every name in the book
But I'm the only one that can say
You can couse misfortune with just a look.
As I say these things to you
You're bright red
And it doesn't faze me when you scream
"I wish you'd just drop dead!"
But perhaps it should have
Because I'm no longer there
Instead the scene's below me
And you're fleeing without care.
My soul (I guess) leaves my body,
And I'm floating toward you
I try to turn around,
But there is nothing I can do.
It's been three weeks
since I last say my person.
If I could speak (which I can't)
I'd probably be cursin'.
So I guess I'm condemned
To watch you live
It's sad, really...
To be you, what I wouldn't give!
