Falling Sakura petals
I wait in the moonlight
Waiting for them to come
The time when they will fall
The wind that will guide them
Floating in the air like little butterflies
Their beautiful baby pink color glowing in the moonlight
Their soft landing doesn't disturb the earth
As they land in numbers
Covering the earth like a bright pink blanket
I marvel at their beauty as the moonlight dances upon them
Making them appear to be magical
So beautiful, the Sakura petals
I wish I were one of them
Floating in the wind
Landing on the ground
And covering the earth with all my beauty
