• I wish life wasn't so hard at times.
    That every story had a happy ending.
    That those happy endings were common
    And boring.

    I wish life made me want for more.
    More than the happy, common ending.
    I wish life was simple again
    And easy.

    But life is none of these things
    Not for me. No it never has been.
    It never will be.
    Not ever.

    So in the end, I won't ask too much.
    I won't be greedy, I won't beg.
    I just want that small, happy ending.
    For just that much, I wish.
