A cage made to protect
A bird born to be free
Breaking down fear and respect
To fly over the sea

Removing the bars
And the heavy chain
Leaving only scars
And hearts full of pain

All in the pursuit of a sky
Beautiful and vast
The freedom to fly
And leave behind the dark past

Releasing people from the chains that bind
Spreading there wings
Not bound by fear, sorrow, and love divine
Listen to them sing
