I am the observer in the corner, who know one understands.
I wonder if the world will notice.
I hear the cries, shouts, and fears of others and
I see that no one sees or hears mine
I want to be heard and understood, but
I am only the observer in the coner, who no one understands.
I pretend that I am okay, but
I feel like I am dying a little more each day.
I touch the world around me, but leave no imprint
I worry that there is nothing for me
I cry inside for all the things I regret for
I am just the observer in the corner, who no one understands.
I understand that this is who I am.
I say that the world is unfair and
I dream for a day in which differences no longer matter
I try to yell and scream and
I hope to be listened to, not just heard, but
I am still the observer in the corner, who no one understands.

Description:
A poem about myself and how I truly saw the world. Still today it's how I see it. It may be considered emo by some, but it's how I feel about a lot of things. And I won't keep my mouth closed. This was written in a class my freshmen year of high school 2005
Please give me all the criticisms you want. They could be as simple as "You suck" or an intelligent criticism explaining what you liked or didn't like and what could be improved. Please all comments are welcome. - Date: 05/28/2009
