    underneath the starlit sky, a redolent flower blooms
    the tainted sky, strands of light and darkness intertwined
    a faded secret, a mere oblivion of the mind

    as entities slumber, lost in an ephemeral epiphany
    as mist covers the night, a peaceful serenity
    when the last vestiges of the stars lay down to rest,
    the dawn is breaking, I hope for the best.
