    I shook angry fists of lies.
    Lies-where'd they get me?

    The bluebird stared at me
    Her questioning eyes look me in the eyes
    evaluating me, learning me.
    My lies ruined me.

    The bluebird screamed
    then flew away.
    I know why-
    I let unspoken lies
    creep into my eyes.

    They got me loneliness,
    Because my eyes showed no truth
    Never again shall I lie-
