I remember the days where I stared in your eyes
Sparkling so bright, they block out the skies
Holding your hand so tightly in mine
I noticed the shiver it sent up my spine
I prayed and I hoped it would go away
When finally on one rainy day
I was at your your house, a regular occurance
All was silent, until a disturbance
I looked on up into your beautiful face
And saw something there that made my heart race
You were smirking cheekily as if you knew
And for a moment that day I thought you did too
Until confusion stretched across my face
As you pulled me into a tight embrace
I was ill that day, but you didn't care
As you lightly started to play with my hair
It was moments later we pulled apart
And heard the constant thump of my traitorous heart
One day later, I was back again
Sitting on the sofa at half past ten
Unexpectantly then you started a play fight
Running out the room and turning right
I heard you giggle and ran for the door
Finding there, what I was looking for
I tackled my way into the space
And began to tickle your tiny waist
And then I noticed how we were standing
Your hands in mine pinned against the landon
We were standing so close, I could hear your heart beating
And the small voice in my head kept on repeating
"Kiss them now, you have no choice"
But soon sweet words came from a different voice
'Its like one of those films we watched last night,
Where everything is seen from a different light'
I was about to lean in to kiss those lips
When the door thudded open, and pulled it from my grip
We both jumped apart and looked in horror,
As I rushed out the house with a quick 'Cya tommora"
I came so close, that very day
When we were interupted to my dismay
There was only one incident after that,
A quick peck on the cheek, and to never again chat.
