Feasting my eyes upon myself in the translucent glass, whilst approaching my adolescence.
This is the beginning; the insecurity.
Facing of the judgement, and the judgement that could have been.
Contemplating too much of what are on other peers minds.
Oh, the unoriginal and the brain washing that followed.
But what if we stopped paying mind to it?
Would the pain fade?
Would we be extravagant?
Would we be happier?
Will we like what we gaze upon, in that translucent glass?
Or will this antagonizing nightmare continue?
That is entirely up to us.
The future holds only what we make of it.
The past holds only what we see of it.
We are only human.
The normality of us has felt everything.
Have felt the sadness of judgement.
Have felt the body of insecurity.
The burning of wrath.
That does not make one not pure.
Or unclean.
It molds us as the adolescent embodiment of who we are soon to be.

- Title: Adolescence
- Artist: Sailor Alternia
- Description: I've created this poem, based on my feelings of beginning middle school. Primarily the beginning of my teenage years. I was incredibly insecure, and every body was rather mean. I cared too much about what people thought, and eventually drove myself to depression, due to the constant bullying I received. I slowly numbed myself to the pain, but that didn't help much. I didn't feel anything at all. But not until recently, I begun to feel happy with who I am. Happy in my own skin.
