In the middle of a cypress wood she reclined
a warrior in her father's 'borrowed' armour
Not because of spite or because of no sibling
but rather for what was left of her honor.
For she had moved away long ago only to return
a lady remade in courage even if only part time.
Numerous acts without some would call "proof"
difficult to put to light much less to rhyme
So you'll have to believe that this Scarlet Quill
still endures in time, page and tide.
And should you choose to believe in her -
you'll both be in for a *heck* of a ride!
