- ■ CHEERFUL Summer is very much a happy carefree kid. She’s always smiling and hardly bothered by anything. Not much brings her down and her cheerfulness can be quite infectious. Overly bubbly she enjoys even the most mundane things that others would find boring.
■ FORGIVING If things do go wrong with someone, Summer is genuinely one to forgive. Though she’s hardly one to be bothered by what someone says, she’ll accept most forms of apology. It doesn’t take much to convince her to move past an issue. Not wanting to let it get in between a friendship she’ll move on before you know it. Water under the bridge as one would say.
■ NURTURING With a gentle hand Summer cares for every living creature and plant that comes her way. Especially plants as she’s got quite the green thump. She helps any and all who need it and is always there for encouragement. You’ll never be shot down by Summer. In fact, she’ll assist someone with whatever task they are trying to get done. No matter how crazy.
■ GOOD NATURED Summer is a gentle soul. She could never hurt a fly never mind a human being. As such she’s also kind and patient. She’s open to what others have to say and is very easy going. There is no need to feel rushed around her as she’d never make someone do so. She’d definitely be a decent friend with the amount of kindness and flexibility she has towards others. She loves hearing another’s ideas and happy to support the idea in question if she finds it to be a good one.
■ GENIUNE In short, Summer is an honest individual. If she doesn’t think something is a good idea, she’ll be sure to say so. She won’t go about knocking down someone the hard way, but she’ll be open and upfront about her feelings. She tries her best to be as authentic as possible. Even if that means shooting someone down.
■ SHY Summer can also be quite timid at first when meeting new people. She starts out quiet and works up to being talkative. She can be nervous around those she doesn't know but despite her hesitance she comes around rather quick.
■ QUIRKY Summer can also be a bit of an oddball. She’s quite the plant lover and spends her time talking to any sort of plant life. She spends a lot of her time appearing to be out to lunch. Seemingly staring at nature like it has something to show her. She might even say that nature talks back to her as if plants could have a conversation. Though they may not actually speak, Summer is certain they are speaking in their own way.

- CHILDHOOD Trent and Jocelyn Sweetwater were two Americans that liked to travel. They met each other at a very young age and evidently became college sweethearts. Eventually the two wed and found themselves in the United Kingdom. It was there Jocelyn found herself pregnant with Summer. They were blessed with a little angel and were happy as could be. One day something happened, and everything changed for the family. Summer’s parents had disappeared from her life, and she’d been dropped off at wool’s orphanage.
The days that followed were not the happiest for Summer. Though she didn’t let that stop her. Instead, she looked to the world around her for better spirits. Anything to do with nature from, the flowers, the birds, and even the bees. Nature was always a constant and on that she enjoyed immensely. The fact that she was cooped up with many other kids wasn’t about to change that. As she grew the memory of her parents faded, though she held on to what little memory she had of them. As she watched many kids leave to have families of their own, she too hoped to have a family some day. Though Summer wasn’t one to push for it. The day a family would come would indeed come. It was just a matter of when.
As she waited for that time to come, Summer had experienced odd things. Things she couldn’t understand like seemingly turning sad looking flowers around. She didn’t get it but one day she was told it was magic and that she’d be going to a special school for witches and wizards. Hogwarts, they called it. It seemed like fun, perhaps she could find a family there.

First Year Summer was sorted into Hufflepuff. Throughout the year she managed to have fun and make some friends. She learned about all sorts of new things her favorite being all the new plants she never knew existed. She joined the herbology club in first year and stuck with it through her time at Hogwarts. Electives came and she’d picked a decent selection. She knew early on that she’d be working with plants after school, which made electives less of a slog. Heading into her OWL year Summer had yet to be adopted. At this point she didn't think anyone would adopt her. Everyone wanted the cute little kids after all. She was already a teenager so best not to dwell on the negative of it all and just accept things for what they were. She had her friends and that was all that really mattered. Managing to pass her exams except for Transfigurations (Summer wasn’t going to talk about it), she had little to worry about. Sixth year she had less of a course load which gave her a lot more free time. Seventh year her NEWTs followed suit with her passing all her chosen courses. Now all that was left was to start the rest of her life.
